Who We Are & What We Do

Leymar is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide help in these areas:
  • Food for homeless teens in high school
  • Coping skills and tools for teens in high school suffering with depression
  • Mobility and flexibility to seniors.
Every donation, whether monetary or non perishable food item contribution helps towards ensuring we can continue providing children and adolescents in Phoenix with nutrition. Your donation goes towards the following: food items are purchased to help fill the gap after school and weekends when our schools are closed. Bags of Hope are a tool for teens in depression, we supply and assemble, then hand off to the crisis counselor‘s in the Phoenix Union School district for their students. We offer free yoga instruction to seniors to help assist flexibility and mobility.

Homeless Teen Pantry

Alleviating Food Insecurity-we help stock and restock the homeless teenage food pantry at North High School and Camelback High School. Many children from low income households or those who may be homeless, rely on school meal programs for sustenance during the week, after school and on the weekends when there are no meals provided, the schools food pantry helps to fill that gap.
